Serene 2-bedroom bungalow nestled in the tranquil Blue Ridge Mountains, offering ultimate peace and breathtaking views. Escape the hustle and bustle to this cozy retreat, perfect for relaxation and reconnecting with nature. Located within 20 minutes of Boone & West Jefferson, NC, you\`re close to so much of what makes the High Country great - hiking, shopping, dining & more! Relax and unwind in one of our cabins at Idlewild Ridge! Each home has 2 master suites as well as a pullout couch, sleeping 6 comfortably. A fully functioning and stocked kitchen allows you to make your meals. The porch is the perfect spot to enjoy a morning cup of coffee in a rocking chair. Curl up on the couch and enjoy the electric fireplace while watching a movie! You’ll notice when you arrive, that there are multiple cabins. Each one is private per guest and you’ll have access to a private porch, grill & fire pit Idlewild Ridge is a unique spot with multiple cabins where you can enjoy the serenity of the Blue Ridge Mountains Each cabin at Idlewild Ridge has it’s own gravel driveway. 4WD/AWD is always recommended but required from November - April. If there is snow, any amount over 3 inches will be removed as soon as possible but we cannot guarantee when it will be removed. Please note: there can be high winds in this area. Do not leave any items outside that can be blown away or knocked down No parties No loud music or noises No smoking on the property Bagged trash ONLY in outdoor trash can - if loose trash is found, there is a $50 fee (someone has to pull it out by hand, we do not have a pick up service) Please keep your pets quiet and off the furniture (an extra cleaning fee of $200 will be added if pet hair is found on the furniture - we appreciate your understanding!) Pets need to be crated when you leave HOT TUB This home is equipped with a hot tub and has been serviced by a technician prior to your arrival. All members of your group, including children, must follow the below hot tub safety rules. Failure to abide by these rules will place any users at risk for infection. You are responsible to ensure that all members of your group use the tub safely. NOTE: Persons with a communicable disease, open wounds, or any infection should not use the hot tub 1\. Each guest must rinse off in the shower before entering the hot tub and after using the hot tub. Lotions, oils, hairspray, perfume, and deodorants may react with the chemicals in the water and failure to rinse off may subject users to infection. 2\. If there is a sanitizing dispenser floating in the water, do not tamper with it. You must leave it in the water at all times to keep the water sanitized. Removing the sanitizer dispenser will place users at risk for infection. 3\. Please do not add anything to the hot tub water including chemicals, soaps, bath oils, etc, as they clog the filter 4\. Do not use oils, lotions, creams, etc, in the hot tub. 5\. Do not allow anyone to urinate in the hot tub. 6\. Take special care in removing cover - it is fragile 7\. Carefully place cover on hot tub when not in use to maintain heat and prevent excess water and sanitizer evaporation. 8\. Damage to the hot tub cover will result in a $500 replacement charge. Do not sit, stand or jump on the cover. 9\. Make sure cover is secure when the hot tub is not in use. 10\. Do not turn off or unplug hot tub. 11\. Do not use glassware in the hot tub Neither the property owner or management company shall be liable for any injury or sickness due to using the hot tub. USE THE HOT TUB AT YOUR OWN RISK. Please contact me if the hot tub needs extra servicing during your stay (extra servicing is not included in your stay and will incur a fee). As this is the mountains and we often experience storms and high winds, we sometimes experience outages of various kinds. They are almost always turned back on quickly and we won\`t be able to give refunds for outages except for on a case by case basis. \*If you know you need internet, please consider bringing your own hotspot to avoid missing important meetings • If any important items are left behind after your stay, we are happy to mail them back to you!
