The place was big, clean , easy check in with exceptional communication. The views are amazing, hot tub we used in the evening which was easy to use and very clean. The views from the front porch are AMAZING this time of the year! We got here just in time for the peak views! The cabin did have lady bug issues and wasps issues but other than that it was perfect! The driveway to get up is steep but that’s going to be anywhere with a good view! Definitely staying here again. ##### Crystal H. Property is a little less than a mile up a gravel road and nicely tucked away in the mountain. It was very quiet and peaceful… nice place to sit on the porch in the morning and watch the deer pass through. The fire pit area was nice too and the kids loved playing cornhole in the driveway. They also loved having their own loft upstairs and playing the board games. The beds and furniture were very comfortable as well. Would stay here again. ##### Kristi M. West Jefferson is our favorite place. The cabin provided just what we were looking for. It was private and we were able to take in the beauty of our surroundings and even take our dog, Liebe on nice walks. She love her stay also. We visited one of our favorite places, Ashe County Cheese! We brought back goodies for everyone. The cabin was very clean and did not disappoint. We enjoyed the hot tub and utilized the grill. My husband raved over the grill. He loves to cook on charcoal. He cooked the best t-bones. This cabin was centrally from all of our favorite places. We enjoyed our entire stay. If you get a chance, soak in the little town of West Jefferson. The Hillbilly Grill and Boondocks were amazing. We are back home now and can’t wait till our next visit. The inside was very clean and cozy throws felt soooo good for porch time. The back porch & hot tub cover were dusty (maybe from cornhole game??), but we were pleased with our stay. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Location - about 19 minutes outside of West Jefferson. Quietest property we have stayed at. At the top of the hill, we only saw 2 vehicles up there on the road. Kind is steep drive but we did fine in Spring on a car. In winter you would probably need 4 wheel drive. Beds were comfortable. Winds kept us from using the fire pit. Hot tub was relaxing. The one complaint would be no TV unless you use your own private accounts for Netflix, Hulu, etc. Some folks don't have services or can't remember passwords once they get there.
