"Bedroom bedside lamp came on,then went off. Loose fixing, dangerous. Also no pat testing certified stickers on electrics. Apart from this. Stay was fine"

"Compact rooms, located in yard behind the pub, a little noisy around closing time, all quiet after that, not a problem unless you are planning an early night. Shower clean, good flow and hot, biscuits with the tea and coffee, twin beds comfortable but we booked a double room, suggest ringing before arrival to confirm selection. Reasonably priced, would recommend if staying one or two nights."

"Had a fan in the room you could use for the heat. Very easy parking for cars. Longer spaces at the front for long cars. Vending machine at the bottom of the stairs. Very impressed! Would definitely stay here again"

"Landlord and staff were really friendly, professional and helpful. We are looking to move to Dorset and the Landlord was excellent giving us some useful tips sharing his experiences since moving to Dorset himself some years earlier. Evening meal and breakfast were also excellent. We will certainly be going back."

"Beautiful and immaculate room. Far exceeded my expectations. Staff super friendly and helpful especially considering we arrived very late after complications during our journey. Honestly felt like we were in a 5 star hotel, wish we could have stayed longer and hope to stay again."

"This is the second time I have stayed due to the convenient location for work. I’ve had the warmest arrival on both occasions. The room was lovely. The bed extremely comfy. And the little touches such as fresh milk and brownies are a bonus treat. Exceptional."
