Would highly recommend staying at the Gonalston Boutique. Not only was the room beautiful and clean, and the breakfast delicious, but the owner was the most wonderful host. She made us feel very welcome and was lovely to chat with. My only disappointment is with myself, that I did not discover this excellent place sooner! We will definitely be back. We booked this hotel due to its location to Donington Circuit. The location was perfect, the circuit being about 10 minutes drive away (maximum). The owners were lovely and very friendly, Beverley helped us find somewhere to eat on a Sunday when everywhere else was closed or had finished serving. Although the hotel is on the main road, the small town of Melbourne is quiet and the road isn't busy - even on a bank holiday weekend. This is truly a wonderful hotel to stay I've stayed in hundreds of hotels This is in my top 3 to stay in If I'm ever working in Sheffield area again. I'll have no hesitation in booking this wonderful hotel The food is so well presented and taste delicious. Also I would like to make a serious point that the staff are so helpful polite and above all can't do enough for you It so wonderful Five stars to all

No issues with it, nice cozy little self contained flat. TV available, beds comfy and clean. Bathroom was lovely.

Absolutely lovely stay! The room was very nice and had everything we needed, there was plenty of tea/coffee and hot chocolate which was good! The garden and surroundings were beautiful and the breakfast was amazing!!!

The hotel room was perfect and the bed was so comfy. The only down side was we were kept up the entire night by teenagers having a party in there room a few doors from us (although they could be heard from anywhere in the hotel) and I was quite shocked to have not received an apology from the staff.

Had a great overnight stay. Lovely room with view on golf course. Nice to have bath with separate shower. Reception team very kind and helpful as were the staff in Roosters restaurant and the breakfast room. I took advantage of the nearby included gym and pool (12 min drive or the hotel also has a free bookable shuttle). All in all I was very impressed.

Very happy with stay,had a meal in the restaurant which we both enjoyed,and the breakfast was one of the best we have ever had. Loved the room,if we are in the area again will definitely stay there again. Staff friendly and helpful.

Room was clean, bed was comfy, parking was easy and checking in was simple. Would happily stay again.
