Formerly a working farm on the Holkham Estate, Chalk Hill Farm Barns have been developed by the estate to create luxury houses that retain the authentic character of the original building, ensuring a truly unique Norfolk holiday experience. National recognition has been bestowed upon this charming development by the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors. A superb choice for those looking for a relaxing stay with friends or the family in a quiet location. Whether you are looking to explore the coast or hosting a secluded, unplugged yoga retreat, Horse Yard Barn is the perfect choice. Horse Yard Barn has been curated to offer a superb range of facilities that will cater for groups of varying needs. Five bedrooms are available, four of which are en suite, each boasting unique style and furnishings that invite a restful nights sleep. Whether nestled in the stunning master bedroom, or tucked into the fun bunk room, guests of all ages will be well looked after. All bedrooms offer a quiet space well away from the hustle and bustle of the coast road, making this an excellent choice for those looking for a restorative stay. The great design extends to the living areas, boasting a large open plan sitting room, dining room and kitchen. This is a superb space to gather the group ahead of the excitement of the day. Upon retiring from the outdoors for the evening, all guests will be able to relax without crowding each other. A second comfortable sitting room is presented on the ground floor, adding a great option for those looking to huddle around a board game or film on the Netflix enabled television. Sonos has been installed in all of these areas. The open plan living area and the comfortable second sitting room have large bi-fold doors, allowing large sections of the house to be opened up to the outdoors. Particularly wonderful in the summer, when you wish to invite the good weather inside. Outside hosts a well enclosed rear garden, perfect for containing little ones or dogs. A nicely planted border, a section of artificial grass and a patio area with accompanying barbecue, invite you to gather around the large dining table and comfortable seating. This is a great suntrap - just don't forget your sun cream! To the front is private parking and a small area that can be accessed via the bi-fold doors in the sitting room. Additional private parking for up to four cars has been provided on site. Additional Information: Two well-behaved dogs welcome (small additional charge). This property is suitable for a maximum of 10 adults. Travel cot, stair gate, and high chair available on request. Please bring your own linen for the travel cot. Bedding is hypoallergenic. A refundable deposit of £500 will be applied when booking this property. There is external CCTV via a Ring Doorbell at this property. Please bring your own pods for the Nespresso coffee machine. The property has WiFi, however, the remote location does mean that 4G is unavailable. The property is just as depicted in the pictures -- tastefully and thoughtfully decorated. The quality if finishes and furnishings is very high. The layout of the house is perfect for larger groups -- lots of areas for privacy; two sitting rooms; each bedroom with it's own bathroom. The kitchen is very, very well equipped and we found it easy to cook large meals together. The setting is beauitful and the whole experience was first rate. ##### arvind m.
