Tired - looks ok on the surface.
Good that you can open a window, but very noisy outside (not the hotel's fault).
My room was right next to the lift which was very noisy and there was a constantly banging door - this alone means I wouldn't stay here again.
Good central location.
Reception staff were very welcoming and helpful. Location is great. Very quiet despite being in the centre of the CBD. Good sized 2 bedroom apartment. The kitchen was ok for reheating food.
Excellent location, central to everything. Staff were really helpful. The room had everything you needed and was perfect. Great to have a kitchenette.

Excellent staff, they were very helpful. The cleaners were great! And the room was large.
The property itself is quite dated, there were stains on the carpet, old bathrooms, no air conditioning and noise travels through the walls. There is only one functioning elevator, so it takes quite a while to go up and down. The hotel is good enough, just needs a renovation.

The room was great, clean and sufficient for our 7 day stay. Very close to restaurants, cafes and McD's is across the road as well as a 24 hour Night & Day convenience store.
Very central, good pricing and very helpful staff, rooms were quiet despite being in the city.

The sheets and towels were clean and new looking, but the hotel overall is just quite dated. For a very short time the elevator stopped working while we were there. The room we stayed in was quiet and we even got lucky being higher up and got a bit of a view which was lovely. I think it was good value for the price we paid. It's evident some money has been put into renovating/upkeeping the place, but there are still more renovations needed.
We enjoyed our stay! 2BDR apartment had enough space for our family of 4, and it was clean and tidy. Shower water pressure was amazing! Some fixtures are a little outdated yes but it really didn’t bother us. Food places are everywhere, there’s a 24 hour convenience store and McDonalds across the road if you get in late like we did. Out the front are a handful of car parks which are free overnight, otherwise there is a Wilson carpark behind Mercure. Bus stop is across the road. It really was a neat spot in the CBD, we have no complaints!
This centrally located semi-highrise hotel was the perfect fit for my time in Wellington. It’s right where I needed to be and the price seemed pretty reasonable for all it offered. I think I may have lucked out being on a high floor, but the views were outstanding, the airflow between windows was great, and the water pressure was a true gift after lots of walking. I really enjoyed the nearby shops and restaurants and the attentive front desk. There is no gym but there are plenty of other things to do around the area. I would return.
