"Good location. Needs TLC."

"Hole in bath towel- and the one it was replaced with. Poor communication with spa. Tried to book a massage on 2 occasions in week preceding stay. It went to ansafone saying to leave a message and they would get back.. They never did and no massages available when we tried again on arrival. Tea/ coffee/milk not refilled in room. Other issues too. On plus side they did try and recify and on departure decreased cost paid for room."

"Room 209. City view. Lovely room, spacious and nice modern design. Good shower and bathroom. Bed fairly comfortable although dipped slightly in middle with 2 medium sized people in it. Pillows were plump. The only thing which let it down was the window catch was broken and the window would not close fully meaning the noise from the main ring road was loud and constant and woke me up several times in the night. I tried to put something inside the catch but it reduced the noise only a little. I suggest the hotel inspects and fixes this. "

"Unfortunately not long before our booking we were told a party would be noisy till midnight, then although you make bookings for families i was told the children could not use the pool. The hotel and grounds were beautiful but the room could have been better. The bath was coming away from the front, the curtains were hanging off its hooks and let the light in the morning and the menu for room service was stained. We did enjoy the breakfast which was delicious."

"Parking safe at the back of property and free. Plenty of spirits and bottled beers. Staff excellent, extremely helpful. Room was spotless, nice double bed (for a single room) toilet and shower spotless. Really good value for what I paid. "

"As a football fan, it was great to stay at a place with such a close association to the professional game. The grounds and buildings there were very grand and impressive. I stayed at the main house with a sprawling set up providing space for work on my laptop and a big bathroom with a cracking shower. I decided to use the gym which was functional but somewhat underwhelming considering the backdrop. I dined at the restaurant being served by an amazing lady who was also on the front desk and made you feel at home. The meal was really good and I had a great night's sleep. Breakfast was a little disappointing as the ingredients were not of a high standard but overall I enjoyed my stay there."
