  • Enjoy scenic views of Wellington, the coolest little capital in the world, from this cosy, self contained studio apartment located in the central city suburb of Brooklyn. An ideal place to stay and relax, if you're visiting for pleasure or business. With its own private entrance you'll feel right at home in this studio apartment which includes free wifi, ensuite bathroom, kitchenette and a lavender court yard. After a long day, a comfortable queen bed awaits you or if you have a need to stretch your legs, take an invigorating walk up the track to the Brooklyn wind turbine through the Waimapihi Reserve. Quality restaurants, cafes, bars and takeaways are just a 5 min drive away at the Brooklyn village or watch a movie at the local vintage cinema. The distance between the studio and city is about 3 km. It will take between 30 to 40 minutes for a leisure walk which takes you through the Wellington's Central Park located close to the CBD, containing native bush, a playground and flying fox. The nearest bus stop is only 6 minutes walk down the road and the bus No. 17 takes you to the city daily. The last stop is the Wellington Railway Station which is close to The Beehive, the Executive Wing of the New Zealand Parliament Buildings.

This is a wonderful property with very caring and helpful owners. Just a short drive into the city, and even closer to some good restaurants and interesting neighbourhoods. We only wish we had longer to stay!

The hosts were super friendly and helpful. The room was wonderful and very close to downtown Wellington activities. The only drawback is that to get to the property, you have to drive up very windy and narrow streets to the top of a hill.
