The Ukrainian female clerk ignored my requests for anything I needed to be more comfortable and seemed almost deliberately unhelpful - but was pleasant and helpful to male Asian tourists. Eventually Expedia just gave me a credit for the problem. The male clerks provided additional pillows two days later but I was not given the queen bed I reserved , instead I had two twin beds that slid apart each night. The restaurant staff was excellent; friendly, helpful, attentive. You can walk or take the bus anywhere in the valley. The view of the alps from every room, the natural beauty of the area and the helpful restaurant staff makes one tolerant of the poor hotel staff in this remote region. Would stay at Hotel Vital instead next time.
