2 wooded acres, 2 king beds & 1 full bed, fire pit & plenty of parking!

8/10 Good
"The property itself was absolutely beautiful, and the cabin was older, but really well kept and had plenty of charm. When we first arrived, it took a little while for the cabin to cool down—but considering it was approximately the temperature of the surface of the sun, I’m giving the AC a pass. The downstairs bed was super comfortable. The upstairs bed… well, she tried. But for the price, I really can’t complain.Communication was great, everything went smoothly, and we had absolutely no issues during our stay. Now for the wildlife portion of the review… there was a HUGE snake skin outside, so apparently someone had recently upgraded to a larger outfit. Thankfully, we never met the owner. But at night, the fireflies came out everywhere, and THAT made my heart ridiculously happy. Beautiful property, charming little cabin, great price, a touch of adventure, and a whole lot of firefly magic. I’d definitely stay again… assuming Mr. Snake keeps our relationship strictly long-distance."

Newly Renovated Lakeside Cottage, Beautiful Lake Views With Adjacent Boat Ramp.

10/10 Excellent
"Deserves a 10 star!! So very pleased with everything about this property! Plenty of space for all of us (6 adults & 3 littles). CLEAN!!!! Kitchen was very well stocked with plenty of dishes, cooking utensils plus extras. Lots of extra bath towels. Many board games for all ages, playing cards and books for young & old. A seat/high chair for little ones was very appreciated! The peddle boat and kayaks were a huge hit and lots of fun! There are life jackets & pool noodles provided as well. All these extras helped make our family getaway so much fun! A golf cart is also offered and we used it a lot. It’s only a short walk down to the lake (uphill going back to cabin) but the golf cart made it so much easier with the littles and all the beach toys! We saw eagles, turtles, lots of jumping fish and several barges passing by. The view from the deck is great! There is a Piggly Wiggly just 15 minutes into Dover. Very clean and super friendly folks. Vince & Pat have done a wonderful job making their property a home away from home for vacationers! Plus, some very yummy banana bread! ABSOLUTELY would recommend spending time here! Our family loved it and we will be returning!!"
