Ideally located on Monterey Bay between Santa Cruz and Carmel, this ocean oasis offers the perfect family getaway or relaxing adult haven. The miles of private beach are perfect for building sandcastles, dolphin and whale-watching, or getting lost in a good book while listening to the waves crash on the shore. After a breathtaking sunset, cozy up around a beach bonfire and spot a shooting star beneath the sparkling night sky. Outdoor enthusiasts love bird watching in the lagoons and hiking in the bluffs, and fitness mavens enjoy the tennis facilities and jogging through the nature paths. The gorgeously furnished and remodeled 3-bedroom condo comfortably sleeps 9 adults. The master bedroom features an un-suite bathroom, direct access to the rear deck, a flat screen television, and an extremely comfortable king-size bed. The 2 additional bedrooms offer a queen bed, and a full/twin bunk bed, respectively, both with flat screen televisions. The sofa bed offers a brand new queen-sized memory foam mattress for extra sleeping accommodations. All pillows, linens, towels and beach towels are provided, and the kitchen is fully supplied with dining-ware service for 12+, cookware, bakeware, tupperware, small appliances, a microwave, dishwasher, and a generously-stocked pantry with spices and oils for your convenience. The washer/dryer is also available to all guests. An electric barbecue grill is located on the rear deck for grilling. Parking is plentiful, and is steps from the front door. The condo is on the ground floor, so there are no steps to climb up with groceries or luggage! It is situated on the north end of the building, and the sand is down a short, 30-second walkway and approximately 10 steps down. Things to do around Monterey Bay: For the curious – we encourage you to visit The Monterey Bay Aquarium, the Mission at Carmel or the Mission at San Juan Bautista, Fisherman's Wharf in Monterey, or downtown Carmel. For the connoisseurs – you'll want to schedule time for wine tasting at the many wonderful wineries found along the Monterey Coast (including Bonny Doon Vineyard, Soquel Vineyards, and Estancia), or satisfy your taste buds for fresh seafood and locally-grown vegetables at any one of a myriad of nearby restaurants and produce markets. The condo was clean and easy to access from parking lot with no stairs. The beach was a minute walk and we got to see some beautiful sunsets and even a few Whales were spotted. The condo had plenty of amenities. We had connection issues with the tv and the host responded quickly and it was resolved within an hour. We did run low on toiletries and garbage bags and housekeeping delivered supplies promptly. This place never lets us down. Its perfect. The set up is perfect not to mention the coziness and the cute beach decor and the master bed is soooo comfy slept like a baby. The beach is a 30 second walk. Sooo convenient. Its a corner unit so the privacy is amazing. I would recommend this to anyone who loves a beachy vaca... our host has been extremely accommodating for both our stays. We enjoyed our stay at this wonderful, comfortable, clean, and well stocked (kitchen utensils, games, dishes) get away. The condo is beautiful and quality. 6 of us found the place to be the perfect size. The location is primo-the access to the beach could not be any easier. The unit was spacious, well-appointed, and very private (thanks to its location in the last building in the development, which meant looking out only at the dunes & not other buildings). The kitchen had every pot and pan we needed, the pantry was nicely stocked, and the beds were supremely comfortable. We would love to return again. The unit location was perfect for my elderly parents. There were no huge steps or slopes to challenge them.
