Waterfront Coastside Trail

The Grove Inn was great for a quick trip into San Francisco. Close enough to the area. Be mindful it is San Francisco and the streets are definitely full of hilss. If you can walk, everything is close enough. If you can't, Ubers are always available. The hotel itself was clean and secure with the charm of the Victorian Homes that are known for the area. Will definitely return to stay again. Thank you Azizza!

Loved the commitment to sustainabily and community

The room was nice, bed was very comfortable and tv was great. Really nicely re- done/remodeled room but clearly is an older hotel that they did some updates to. My particular room had a bathtub that had seen better days. Extremely small bathroom with no space to put toiletries. Could only fit one person in the bathroom at a time and really no place to put clothing as there was minimal space in the room. No robes or slippers to wear while there either. Options for food are catering to a specific taste. If you want just some regular American fare food that isn’t super fancy this isn’t where you want to eat. Let’s talk about parking. Well, they hire out for parking/valet and it is very expensive. Like $90/night expensive and they charge not from start of when you leave your car there. Starts at check in time even if you didnt arrive at that time. The location is central to everything and the room rate was good. My takeaway is this- do not bring a car, expect minimal amenities (coffee and coffee maker were so basic we didn’t use it). Bring almost no clothes as there is nowhere to put them unless you live out of your suitcase. Expect no space in the bathroom and expect no place to lay out your toiletries, bring in your items as you need to use them. Most of the staff was lovely. One was very helpful in helping me find alternative parking overnight.
