"One of my worst stays ever, especially taking into account I travel to Thailand every week staying in different hotels. First day there, I arrived at around 11pm and was shocked to see the office (Check in counter) was already closed. Was told by the security guard to leave 500baht with him just so I can get my room keycard. "I have stayed in most of the hotels on Soi 11 simply to find the one that held the most value for the price and everything in between. For me, Solitaire wins. Rooms are clean, staff is nice (like most thai's are) and the location can't be beat. The only thing I will say is the breakfast buffet can use some work. The juices were watered down since last year when I was here and it just seemed they were trying to save money. The best thing is the omelet and noodle bar. Everything else is just good. "
