We had a wedding in the area and it was a perfect place to stay! We had our fur babies and it was nice to be able to bring them also!
It was beautiful, clean, very equipped with all you need. Very close to walk in the downtown area and to the riverfront.
It was very comfortable!
My husband and I rented this home and absolutely loved it. The home was clean, comfortable, and surprisingly quiet for being so close to town. The home was walking distance to shops, restaurants, and more! It had everything we needed and the property owner was very kind and responsive. I would highly recommend to anyone wanting to stay in Washington!
House was very cute & good location to things around. There was some confusion with the bed situation as VRBO lists 4 bedrooms but there is only 3. There was a queen mattress and a pull out couch so we figured it out. I would stay here again for sure!
The home was perfect for us. It was comfortable and well stocked. The Four of us had plenty of privacy and several areas to sit together for cocktails and conversation. The area was close to restaurants and entertainment, but private and safe. We loved staying there for three nights!!
We stayed at Deanna's house with our baby and extended family for a wedding weekend and had a great time! The house was perfectly setup for us to lounge while also being able to walk to restaurants. We also had three women getting ready for a wedding in the upstairs bathroom and had plenty of counter space! Deanna was super responsive and helpful with all my questions.
My siblings and I rented this house for a wedding nearby. Deanna is so welcoming and easy to communicate with. The house is close to the vibrant downtown area and Deanna provided all kinds of tips, suggestions and brochures for what to do in the Washington area. The house is immaculate and well-appointed. Beds are comfy, bathrooms lovely, and the kitchen has everything you need. We spent a lot of time on the lovely front porch since the weather was good. Our only criticism is that the house had one fewer beds than the description indicated - the house has one king, two queens and a pullout sofa (very comfortable). We would definitely rent this again if we are ever in the area.
This property was great, it had a warm homey feeling to the floorpan of the home. It is a great location for downtown shopping, only a few blocks away. Kitchen was well stocked with utensils and everything you need to prepare your own meals. The only small deficiency would be the sidewalk entrance from the street. It was difficult for a physically challenged person to navigate the path. There also needs to be a railing on the front steps. Other than this minor detail our stay was very comfortable, everything you need for a pleasant stay can be found at this location! We will be back
Our stay at this property was wonderful and relaxing! It is centrally located in the downtown older area of Washington, MO and offered speedy access to restaurants, shops, and fun family adventures. We enjoyed the live music next-door at the Tea Room from the porch. The fire pit in the backyard has seating and we made smores our last night there. The rooms were decorated beautifully with Matisse prints and other Fauvist themed items; our Eldest daughter's favorite artistic style. The property bridged the gap between a historic space and modern luxuries in fantastic fashion. Modern amenities such as the soaking tub, remote controlled fans and lighting, customizable climate control in the bedrooms, excellent appliances and a well appointed kitchen made for a peaceful and rejuvenating atmosphere. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our time at this lovely home and we absolutely would return to it for another trip. Deanna was an excellent host and a great communicator. Top notch lodgings.
This was the second time we stayed at this location and it won't be our last. It will be our first choice any time we visit Washington. The host is very accommodating and a joy to work with. Can't think of one amenity that needs to be added.
This home was perfect for us to stay while in town fie a wedding. The home is decorated so very nice! Everything was neat and clean. Great communication. Highly recommend!
I happened to meet the owner when I showed up a little early. She couldn't have been more charming and helpful all through our stay, and afterwards when I left something there. Deanna is absolutely the very best!
A LOVELY place to spend time quality time catching up with friends! Thank you to our hosts for sharing their home. It is located within walking distance to shops and restaurants. We loved the art work style of Henry Matisse throughout the home! It’s a gem!
The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was spacious for three people to cook and location was in walking distance to town. We sat on the front porch to take a break for the day. On first day we were overwhelmed with fragrance but I was able to unplug all air fresheners. The bathroom fan actually vents air and the WIFI is strong. Parking is right in front on street. Trash and recycling bins outback because its still a house. Owner welcomes feedback. Would stay again.
This is such a cool house! Super charming decor (Matisse themed!) and in an excellent location walkable to everything. The beds were the most comfortable I’ve slept in at a rental (and maybe anywhere). Individual air conditioners upstairs keep things cool. Look to manual to find locations for dog supplies, kid/toddler supplies, and everything else. Very well stocked.
Wonderful house. Deanna is so nice and made sure everything was ready. The house had everything we needed and within walking distance to downtown. I have relatives that live in Washington so I will be back!
This house was so ADORABLE! Very comfy, perfect location, and walking distance to everything downtown! The house was such a unique, old house, but had all the modern conveniences! I’ve stayed in a LOT of vacation rentals and this house had more supplies than any house I’ve ever visited! Toys for the kids, supplies for dogs, babies, adults, etc! Not only will we stay here again, but I told the owner we would buy it! Host was super friendly and communicative. We had no issues while there, but I’m confident if we had, she would have accommodated us immediately! HIGHLY
recommend!
