"We had a very peaceful stay and a good base to do some fishing with all the amenities we needed for a three night stay. The hosts were very helpful and tentative with communication and allowed us to have a late check out that certainly made a difference not having to rush packing up and was very much appreciated. "Mitch and bull are excellent hosts the cottage was beautifully presented clean and tidy with a lovely home grown flowers , a nice bottle of white wine and fresh eggs and assortment of vegetables from their gardens was a nice welcoming to our stay! Everything was there we needed in our cottage and the nice cold drinks and chocolate surprise in the fridge was very welcome on a warm day. We loved sitting on the verandah drinking a wine and listening to all the beautiful birds some so cheeky they came up to our feet, the cottage gardens are lovely a real treat for a garden lover. We even got to see an owl on our last night there. Such a peaceful sanctuary for us from the hustle of our jobs . Perfect base for a trip to Wilson’s promontory and nearby foster great for a meal at the lovely exchange hotel bistro. Fantastic time away to celebrate our 30th Wedding anniversary would highly recommend to do yourself a favour and stay here"
