Remote and beautiful and well appointed

"The place is remote and fabulous with a steep gravel driveway and set far above the road for noiseless nights of stargazing. It requires a little bit of off grid savvy but nothing even this 60 year old New Yorker couldn’t learn in seconds. The view is absolutely stunning, the house is quite comfortable. Very comfortable beds, spotless, shower, washing machine, beautiful, wounding, deck, Thoughtful touches as well, kitchen with small walkin pantry was clean and well-equipped. Surrounded by lush, native bush, and expensive view of the sounds with swimming just down the road at the beach, hiking in either direction up and down the road, this place was a real winner. Communicating with Beth was fast easy and informative, I really love this place."

Fine but a bit disappointing for the price

"The view and location was amazing and the house was generally clean and comfortable with some dusty bits and some cobwebs. But the place is a bit tatty and run down. It definitely needs an update or a price change. The kitchen needs more equipment, wooden spoons, oven dishes and some decent knives. The upstairs bathroom door doesn't stay closed. The screen doors on the balcony are broken. There was a trampoline which my son was excited to use but the net is badly broken so not safe to use...disappointing for him. The kayaks were great. But the path down to the beach is really steep and loose so not suitable for elderly people or those with any mobility challenges. We had a nice time but the house was not as flash as the photos suggest."
