Aqua Kuhio Village

Aqua Kuhio Village
2.0 star property
Waikiki
5.2 out of 10, (35 reviews)
"The hotel is in a questionable area. The area did not seem safe at night. The view (not the ocean side) was extremely unsightly. Some neighboring buildings are full time rental apartments and the noise was awful. The alley was littered with debris and the garbage trucks go non-stop making too much noise. Nobody could sleep through all that."

Pocket Guide: Honolulu Waikiki Hotels

Waikiki is a walkable, family-friendly neighborhood known for being economical and having ample choices for restaurants, bars, and coffee shops. In addition to its small-town vibe, the neighborhood has many charming qualities. Outdoor settings, such as the sea, beaches, and island views, attract many visitors. Waikiki's hotels and holiday apartments make a great home base for venturing out into the greater Honolulu area.

Sightseeing around Waikiki

The local zoo might be a top draw, but there are many others. Attractions like Hawaii Opera Theater, Neal S. Blaisdell Center, and Honolulu Academy of Arts can be part of your cultural tour. Notable landmarks include National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, King Kamehameha Statue, and Iolani Palace. Be sure to get some family photos at Honolulu Zoo, Waikiki Aquarium, and Sea Life Park.

Many visitors like to do some shopping while in town, but there are a number of other activities. Waikiki Beach, Kuhio Beach Park, and Ala Moana Beach Park are a few spots to soak up some sunshine. You can take some time to enjoy the outdoors at Kapiolani Park, Old Stadium Park, and Magic Island. For retail therapy, consider Royal Hawaiian Center, Ala Moana Center, and Aloha Tower Marketplace, and seek out the perfect souvenir. You won't be disappointed visiting other sights like Ala Wai Golf Course, Ala Wai Yacht Harbor, or Kamehameha Shopping Center.

Don't miss some of the area's most popular attractions, such as University of Hawaii at Manoa, Diamond Head, and Aloha Tower. Waikiki Shell, Kapiolani Community College, and Contemporary Museum are also favorite places to visit.
