The furnishings are very modern and we loved being able to go outside in the mornings and sip coffee on the patio. It is also 6 solid minutes from the best shave ice place on the island! The furnishings and beds were like new and so comfortable. It was stocked with everything needed including all kitchen items, washer & dryer, and extras in the garage like a cooler, beach chairs and boogie boards for the beach, and beach towels. Definitely need to hike to the top of the community and see the temple from the early 1600s. The home was absolutely perfect and even more beautiful in person! The scenery around the property was gorgeous and the exact relaxing location we needed. The owners were responsive and I would give this property 5/5 stars. The 7/11 down the street was great and had food from Japan and the staff was nice. As a heads up, this location is super far away from touristy places, but that is exactly what we were looking for. There is a huge homeless population that you will drive past. I'm glad we got to see the "real" Hawaii and not just high-rise resorts. We would love to stay at this property again and this was perfect for my husband, myself, and our 5yo son. We loved cooking meals at home and the kitchen had everything we needed. We loved there was a washer and dryer available in the garage so we could pack lighter. There was an AC in every room.
