The swimming beaches of Lake Taching and Lake Waging are just two kilometres away. A trip to Lake Chiemsee, featuring Herrenchiemsee Palace and Fraueninsel, is also well worth it. The mountains are within easy reach: a maximum of 30 minutes by car to Ruhpolding, Berchtesgaden, or Bad Reichenhall.
