"Great stay in the center of Skipton, ideal base for a good walk, good food, beer, with an excellent atmosphere. Room was clean, tidy, comfy bed, good shower, & at the quiet end of the pub. Breakfast is very good, good choice, with no problem with any variation. Staff were excellent, nothing was any problem, friendly & helpful. "

"The welcome was very friendly. We were shown to the room up 2 flights of stairs. Good sized room with double bed ensuite. Bed was so comfortable. Ensuite shower was electric which worked fine but not as much water pressure I like but that's a personal thing. Ironing board with iron came in handy on the day of the wedding. The food in the restaurant was delicious as was the Guinness!!"

"The pub itself is a lovely warm and welcoming place, the food was great value and excellent quality. We was made to feel most welcome by the landlord, staff and the lovely locals. We stayed for 2 nights, the room was large, comfortable and warm however the bathroom felt quite cramped. Overall for the cost of the room it was beginning to feel a little tired and could do with a refresh. Breakfast was included and was very nice. "

"Great place for a short stay. Clean & good facilities bit of confusion over payment…. Thought paid up front but hotel said not… so this is main reason for 4 not 5. Also close to late night pubs/ clubs…. So if you’re wanting to go to see early… probably not the place for you as the music can be quite loud. However, not an issue for us & slept really well. Ultimately good value for money & would stay again."
