About this property
Coach's Quarters - The Dugout - Come Spend The Night in the Trees!!
Our 500 sq ft treehouse has a wooden ramp instead of steps for easy access to the trees! There is a lovely wrap-around deck offering perfect spots just to unwind and take in the scenery. An Adirondack Rocker and plenty of outdoor chairs await you on the deck!
The main room is open concept with a Zinus Green Tea infused Gel Memory foam queen bed. You’ll love the custom made cedar window seat with live wood edges hand milled from a large tree on our property.
There is a sitting area with a vintage foldout table and chairs for enjoying morning coffee or family card games. The colorful kitchenette countertop was designed with gorgeous deep green & decorative tile. Here our guests will find a nice size coffee maker, coffee cups, light snacks, coffee/hot tea pods, assortment of sugars/sweeteners and a microwave. There will always be creamers & bottled waters in the cool, vintage mini-fridge!!
You’ll love stepping into the full bath w/a roomy, Sage-green tiled walk-in shower and separate toilet area. The bathroom vanity is custom designed using beautiful tiles and pebble stone from the shower!
Climbing the stairs you'll find an inviting, colorful & cozy loft area that offers another Zinus queen bed as well as a mustard color Sleeper Chair! This chair folds out to a chaise lounge or all the way out for a small, single bed!! It should comfortably accommodate a child/teen or smaller adult for a good night’s sleep!
You’ll notice many unique, added touches in Coach’s Treehouses like the beautiful acacia hardwood flooring throughout as well as the eye-catching vintage windows turned into cafe-style doors with stunning rain glass attached.
Our window treatments of choice are the beautiful Zebra Shades that give our guests’ flexibility with privacy!! Please handle with care as they are a delicate fabric!
All of our picture windows naturally bring in the beautiful nature of the outdoors surrounding this property. The setting is predominately private so you may want to leave the zebra shades up for the views!
A REAL vintage bonus: A refurbished & running, 1936 John Deere Tractor awaits our Treehouse guests for viewing & great photo ops! Oh yes…….be sure to keep your eyes out for deer and maybe a fox here and there while you’re on the back deck!

The Dugout was such a fun stay for my family. Everyone loved the nature, peace and quiet, and of course the animals! We even sw squirrels on the roof out of our window, and also deer. Everything was cozy and clean.
Great location, out of town but close. Away from noise. Very clean quarters with comfortable bed! Also very safe location, one ny wife would feel comfortable staying alone
We were pleasantly surprised after the short drive out of town into such a secluded yet beautiful area where the treehouses are located. The area was lush with trees, fields and the miniature horse. We were able to walk through the neighborhood after our long car ride and the kids enjoyed a neighborhood playset. The patio was extremely pleasant and the sleeping arrangements worked out well.We would definitely stay again.
My spouse and I, with other family members, booked two of the treehouses for solar eclipse totality. The hosts were gracious and helpful. The cabins are gorgeous inside and out. We spent time on the decks for meals, playing games, and watching wildlife in the fields. The ramps allowed our party (including a few older folks) to easily access the lodging. We met the mini horse and adore her. Beds are comfortable. Showers are downright luxurious. Local food and Mammoth National Park were also amazing. We'd stay again in a heartbeat.
We had a great time! We actually got to see deer several times which was amazing. The tree house was clean and stocked with everything mentioned on the site. The only issue that we had was that the door to the restroom would not stay closed. It's a swinging door without a latch, so it opened several times while it was occupied. Awkward ! I would suggest a hook lock mechanism to keep private moments private. Suggestion- Visitors, check-in before nightfall to get a lay of the land. The roads wind and are a bit narrow. The owners were very responsive and greeted us upon arrival. We would definitely stay again.
