Truly place for holiday, relaxing with beach & mountains, especially right place for kids with many and diversifed kid garden, kid clubs, swimming pools for kid... Nice and beautiful resort with large gardens, park.
Staff are friendly and helpfull. Good buffet breakfast (reasonable with money u pay, no expect more).
The only minus is very small double room. It may be larger with group 2-3-4 bedroom, but very small room for small family & couple if u book the Deluxe room. It should be Executive room with living room and more larger.

Nice location but front desk staff too stubborn
Location is very nice, resort is getting up to be world class. Due to now is soft opening many facilities not open yet. Down side is only can eat inside resort, to travel to next decent restaurant takes about 30 min, and hard to hire taxi. If you have you own car it’s excellent.
Service staff is superb, very professional and kind. Front desk staff not so good, very not flexible for service, and not much smile that make me feel not very welcome.
Overall is great resort once it’s complete, hope they can change the front desk staff or at least train them.
Carpet is dirty. Beach was small but full rubbish. Refrigeraror could not make the drinks cool. There is not any cloth hook in bathroom

Will not come again
The room is so small although we booked deluxe double room.
We were charged extra unexpected cost when we checked in. After i shown that we already paid for it, the reception never apologize for it.
We were very difficult to book for the shuttle electric bus for travel within the resort. Called the operator and waited there for a long time. Will not come again this resort.
the hotel staff was have no experience to serving guese the room very duty and the air conditional was not working the staff of the pool was very rule. and the restaurant host and manager is very bad service to a customer the breakfast was included . but host keep asking 3 time for same old question the room have Alot of mosquito THE carpet was very duty and cracked and we checking out they ask us have to pay for that . i was very lucky i has the picture to show them that . the bathroom was not clean and they don.t have back up toilet Papper we just use on ly three time and wou of the papper
Felt like Hotel California, leaving NOT encouraged
If you never want to leave the hotel, the place is great. No concierge to make recommendations. You can rent a bicycle or buggy but only for use on-site. Taxis do not want to come or the staff simply forget to call them. A walk to Minh Dam and then tbe local fishing village recommended in the brochure was 20km. Thats okay for some and was enjoyable if a little slow but not for everyone. To get dinner outside meant a 12 km walk as well with no recommendation from the staff. We were left to walk alone at night. Asking for private car was met with delay tactics and staff unsure of the cost. To get a ride back to the ferry in Vung Tau we had to book our own driver who we met in a restaurant during one of our long walks. I gave the number to reception who explained they had problems working with "the local people."
Thankfully he picked us up to get us to the ferry as the staff could not be relied upon.
On tbe good side. Great pool! Small but adequate room, nicely appointed and the breakfast buffet was quite nice.
If I return will drive my motorcycle to explore a bit more. The place was quite nice but no service to support what the ad promised.
Check-in was quick. Bathroom drain was clogged, but was fixed immediately. A bathroom with a large shower area had 1 small towel rack, so you need to be creative to hang towels; insufficient counter/shelf space. Nice view of mountains. The electric buggy (resort taxi) was 5+ minutes late about half the time. Very limited menu. Breakfast buffet is okay, but some choices are not offered on 2nd floor. Also, NO HOT coffee or tea readily available at breakfast buffet. 1 large cockroach found in room on 2nd day (tropical climate, so it happens) Private beach poorly planned - only 8 umbrellas for 6 pairs of chairs which are placed in front of the area that is dangerous to swim AND without a lifeguard, but the lifeguard tower is about 200 meters away in front of the safe area to swim, which has a volleyball net and other activities erected; so no convenient area to sit and swim. The pool is great but could use a few more chairs. The beachfront club and sky bar are still under construction so you can't get your dance on yet. Probably best to go during the week as it seems to mainly function as a business holiday and team-building location for employers on the weekend. And although it didn't affect us, if you are staying with a large group, your villa will have a kitchen which is useless because you will be fined if you cook. Cheers.
Experience is completely different from advertised
The actual Oceanami resort is a completely difference experience than what's portrayed on Orbitz and the resort's website. During our December 2017 stay, about half of the property was under construction, including villas, beach club (which is part of the property name), 3 of 5 restaurants, spa, and areas next to the pool (the swim-up bar). When we booked the stay, we were misled by a number of stunning pictures of the property on Orbitz and the resort's website. When we arrived, we quickly realized that virtually all of the pictures were rendered and virtually staged, and in fact, the resort was under heavy construction.
While our villa was completed and furnished, there were a number of issues which led to an unacceptable experience. The drainage holes in the shower and toilet rooms reeked of sewage and waste. Both are in the bedroom area and within 10 feet of the bed. During our 2 night stay, we killed about 20 mosquitoes in our villa, despite the fact that we were extremely careful to keep the door closed and never once opened any windows.
Lastly, based on our experiences in hotels of comparable cost and Orbitz stars in Vietnam and across southeast Asia, we had high hopes for great food and service. Unfortunately, neither was true during our stay - the resort's only kitchen was comparable to a dorm room cafeteria, and our reservation for the hotel bus to Ho Chi Minh City was completely forgotten and overbooked, forcing us to take a bus 2.5 hours later than we booked.
Luxury it is not, but Oceanami Resort is a good value accommodation along Long Hai beach. Caters mostly to the domestic, weekend group tour crowd; from Tuesday to Friday we had this place almost to ourselves and it was eerily empty. A taxi ride away from sleepy Long Hai town and 30 minutes away from Vung Tau, you will likely feel stranded on the resort so be okay with staying in place before booking. Staff was attentive although English language levels varied. Good for kids and we saw several babies in addition to our's. Breakfast alright, lunch and dinner options tasty and everything very reasonably priced. Good massage at the spa, large pool suitable for lap swimming, modest fitness center. The beach itself wasn't great and no chairs for sitting on, perhaps because they would be washed away at high tide. If you go, definitely book the large Executive Suite (80 m2) over the tiny Deluxe room (23 m2), I'm glad we were able to switch at the property. The Expedia pictures don't do justice to the Executive Suite as they don't show the massive living room or patio with a private mini fish pond. Was strange that the room had absolutely no plates or utensils in the kitchen area, I understand they really want to discourage cooking in the rooms so you buy the resort food.

Stayed for 1 night at the 4 bedrooms villa. rooms were very stuffy and the awful smell that came from plugged in scented oil. Other than that everything else was good. Good breakfast buffet and good customer service.

Beautiful hotel with helpful staffs. Loved their breakfast, too!
This is the second time I stay here in year. They are good and better and more improved at many aspects, especially in friendly staff.
Resort still nice, lovely, large, clean and peaceful.
2 minus points:
Food of main restaurant is too bad (different with my previous trip in Mar), dont understand how they can cook them
Have to wait in long time from 10-30 mins for the internal tram for each moving (the resort is too big so need them for each moving to beach, parking, restaurant...).
the overall feeling is nice but they have to improve their buffets and a la cart menus quality so to meet the standards of their stars

Taxi
Hotel Staff made me wait for 50minuts to get taxi to go to Vun Tau City. Some people who didn’t come with car want to use taxi to go to down town at night but I cannot assume the time how long does it take to get Vun Tau City.
