#### Voss is one of Norway's most well-known winter sports havens. It's the perfect place to enjoy a day in the winter sun.

There's no doubt that skiing is one of the most popular activities in Norway, and Voss boasts one of the country's top resorts. In addition to its great slopes, the town is known for the Extreme Sports Week, which draws spectators and participants from around the world. In the summer, a trip to Voss offers everything from rafting and skydiving (contact Skydive Voss) to golf and wonderful hiking opportunities.

Voss is a municipality in Hordaland, where Vossevangen is the administrative centre. Take a ride to Vossevangen to experience the best that Voss has to offer.

If you're visiting Voss in the winter, try not to miss the Voss Ski Centre. The resort has more than 20 slopes and a total of 10 lifts. You'll find everything from beginner slopes to challenging runs at this resort, which also offers lounges, restaurants and great after-ski options.

The Extreme Sports Week is held in the summer, a week filled with extreme sports and entertainment as June turns into July. Be sure to put this on your list if you are visiting Voss at this time of year – it's an experience you won't want to miss! There are also great hiking opportunities in the area around Voss. Contact Visit Voss, the town's tourist information centre, for a map and suggestions for hiking routes.
