"You cannot beat this hotel's location. It sits right next to the Voss train and bus station, which are also directly adjacent to the Voss Gondol. I stayed in a room overlooking Lake Vangsvatnet, and the views were absolutely beautiful.
The property is beautifully maintained and full of character. The wallpaper, carpeting, and furniture give it a lovely historic, "olden days" feel in the best way possible. It feels like stepping into a well-preserved piece of history.
Breakfast was an absolute highlight. The food selection was superb, and the dining area offers fantastic views right from the tables.
The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my entire stay. As a wonderful bonus, they gave me a voucher for a 25% discount on the Voss Gondol—which is an absolute must-see while you are here!
The spectacular Bordalsgjelet Gorge is also located right nearby and is another must-see attraction that you can easily access from the hotel.
