"Great location on the water of lake Travis. Excellent views. Felt very private, even with owner next door and Tennant downstairs. Note, a few groups came though the property, to the dock for boat excursions. Very entertaining property for family with teens and dog. Owner had 2 dogs that were nice."

"This property has a lovely home that is clean and sits on a nice cove of the lake with very nice views, however, there were no welcome instructions ( use of tv, home use details) and too many broken or non-functioning items, to give this location an excellent rating. We had planned an outdoor family dinner and discovered that the grill didn’t work and refrigerator’s water and ice features weren’t functioning. Communication with host was good and she sent a handyman who repaired the grill and brought ice and water, plus a better coffee maker. Reynaldo was very helpful. Other items such as kitchen drawer, master bath lighting, and secondary bathroom shower door were also not functioning properly. The balconies of the home had great views, but all seating was on lower outdoor level. The dock was nice and the family enjoyed swimming, but the rails to the steep stairs were laying on the dock instead of attached for safety. This home could be a really great rental if host would make sure everything is in great working order and add some extra hospitable touches. In spite of all the problems, we enjoyed the stay. All of these things can be repaired to provide a wonderful getaway."

"Had a great time! The house and setting is beautiful, we enjoyed the hot tub and pool and the pizza oven too. Kathy was very responsive to questions and issues. Only disappointment was the walk to the dock which is difficult to access due to the lake water level and it is quite steep and woodsy."

"The place was great! The bed was super clean and comfortable, and the kitchen was well equipped. The furnishings were perfect, with plenty of places to put things and hangout. I felt very safe there and the little village of Volente was a happy peaceful place to be. I would stay there again any time."

"This property had everything we needed for my family of 5. We felt at home as soon as we got there. It was clean and the neighborhood was beautiful and quiet. The view was beautiful, the weather was perfect & the pool was a great way to spend our lazy days at. It’s the perfect location to where you can get away from it all but then it’s a short drive to Austin where there are lots of things to enjoy. We had a small issue with the pool heater coming on when not requested, but the property manager was in constant communication with us and so helpful and friendly when trying to figure it all out. We’ve stayed at many VRBO homes in the past and this has been one of the best experiences we’ve had. If we are ever in the area again, we’d stay here for sure!"
