The property has a pool and nice view. Unfortunately there is a mistake in the description of the comfort room type that we booked as it says on Expedia that it has a balcony but the room we had does not have balcony. Michele the owner was apologetic and ensure the website will be updated accordingly. We stayed two nights and it would be good to replenish the body wash as we will only given 2 bottles when we checked in and they were not replaced when the room was cleaned on the second day. Also there is no onsite parking so will need to park along a narrow street outside the hotel (lucky if you can find a space) or park in a parking lot which is a distant away.

Dear Joyann, as I explained to you, it was an error that has already been fixed. The balcony which is present in other room types has been removed from confort room description. It is not in our interest to provide incorrect information. I hope you appreciated how we made up for it.Regarding parking, what you say is not accurate. In fact, in addition to street parking, it is possible to park 150 meters away in a free car park.

Peaceful oasis
Our room was modern and clean. The hotel's grounds were so peaceful and quiet. We had a very nice breakfast in the morning. The staff is so helpful and friendly. We really enjoyed our stay here. The location is only a few blocks from the Duomo and there are many restaurants and shops nearby. Parking is available on the narrow street outside of the hotel.

Friendly, knowledgeable and attentive staff. Very well maintained facilities. Great view across the valley and towards Ragusa Superiore from the garden with its varied trees. A very short walk to be right in the middle of the town.

This hotel was on the hill above the Duomo just a short walk to main piazza and pedestrian zone. The rooms are minimally decorated. There is a subtle elegance to walls and ceiling we did not notice at first. Our room had a lovely large shower a real treat after so many tiny ones. We enjoyed an afternoon reposo by the pool and garden overlooking the hills. It was so relaxing under the orange blossoms sipping a complimentary bottle of wine! The breakfast each morning was delicious too. We would definitely recommend staying here.

A wonderful place to stay
Great location in old Ragusa. Walking in the old streets, shopping and eating were delightful pastimes. It was a little hard to find at first because of the narrow one way streets. Michael, the owner, was so friendly, helpful, and made our stay the best. The hotel garden was calm and with the many fruit trees smelled heavenly. All in all staying here was delightful.

We loved everything about this place. It is beautiful inside and out. Beautifully landscaped, with a scenic view from altitude, and a large clean pool. Too cold for me to hit the pool, but two in our party loved it. Great location, just a minute walk from the main piazza and duomo. Importantly, parking was easily available right outside the property. Our host Micaela was most helpful with any questions, parking, ZTL information, etc. He and his staff were so nice! Great breakfast as well. Would definitely stay here on a return trip.

The property is in a great location very close to the centre of Ragusa Ibla and with wonderful views down the valley from the garden and pool area. Rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff friendly and helpful. Driving to the property initially was tricky as Google maps were unreliable in the small local streets but parking was easy near the property once we had found it. We were given an upgrade to a better room for two nights when we arrived which was good. Regarding the bottle of wine your correspondence says we were entitled to we were unaware about that and so were the proprietors I think. Frankly we weren’t bothered. We had an upgrade on our room which was better for us and the property was a great place to stay

Serenity in the center of Ragusa
Gorgeous pool area and garden with views over town. Very good breakfast. Exceptional service from staff - one even came to rescue us when we were lost in town! Our twin room was small but had everything you needed.

Absolute gem
Absolute gem nestled on the side of a hill top - a bit of a white knuckle driving experience getting to and from Ragusa but we’ll worth it - as was the three years and 5 rearranged trips due to COVID. Hosting and service excellent, as was the bathroom and the best breakfast of our 10 night 10 hotel tour of Sicily - loved it

Our stay at Giardino Sul Duomo was fabulous. This was overall our best accommodation since traveling through Italy. The spacious room was gorgeous, immaculate, comfortable bed, excellent location, and stunning grounds. The WiFi and AC both worked very well. Michael, the owner was so accommodating and helpful. Breakfast was such a treat in the garden. We highly recommend!

Fantastic hotel, with lawn, pool, trees, nestled into the heart of historic Ragusa, with amazing views off the hill to the north. Staff are extremely helpful, making restaurant reservations, mixing and serving aperol spritzes by the pool, and giving all sorts of information. breakfasts are great; the town is a perfect place to spend two or three nights. Book this place early!

This is a really lovely hotel in Ragusa Ibla. Walking distance to the old town center, beautiful grounds, nice breakfast daily. The room was really nice!! The view from the property is really nice as well. The staff were incredibly helpful…my husband became ill and we had to figure out, in the middle of the night, how to find the local ER. They told us which hospital to go to, offered to call an ambulance, and worked with us for a late check out since we discharged late from the hospital. Would stay here again in a heartbeat, and thanks again to the staff.

Lovely hotel, just a bit noisy.
We booked this hotel because of the swimming pool, but sadly it was cold so we could not use it. The hotel was fine, and the staff very friendly. They gave us access to a free parking. The breakfast was also very generous. The only downside is that you could hear the people in the room next door. They came back at 3 am and woke us up.

Dear Florance, thank you for your feedback, although the score is not very generous. Just 2 things: 1)We have an outdoor pool, so If you come in late October is possible that you find a cold day. It's a normal thing. 2)Guests who came back at 3 am, returned from the hospital due to an accident. Maybe they made a little too much noise and it woke you up. In normal situations you don't hear from room to room. You could not have known this and we are sorry that you woke up.

Lovely place. Lots of steps!!
The rooms are mostly converted homes adjoined to the main complex. It’s like you live on the terraced street. The room was very clean and comfortable. Slept really well. The “City View” was a bit of a let down. You see the other side of the road unless you step out onto the balcony and crane your neck. Breakfast was very good, with COVID measures so no formal buffet. Felt safe.

Unforgettable views
Amazing location right in the heart of the historic town with great views over the valley. Couldn’t fault the hosts or the cleanliness, only gripes would be that the air con seemed to be stuck at a very low setting in the room and there weren’t enough plug sockets. That said, would happily recommend and return to stay.

Enjoy your breakfast in the beautiful garden or just take a dive in the swimming pool. This B&B is also ideally located for your walk around Ragusa. You are just a few steps away from the duomo. It’s impossible to be more central :-). We really enjoyed our stay!

A Hanuary break. The staff here were lovely and helpful. It was January so no pool or jacuzzi at the property and Ragusa was quiet until the Saturday evening and Sunday.

Memorable stay in Ragusa
Giardino sul Duomo is an extraordinary little B&B, and reason enough to make a visit to Ragusa, especially if you are in Sicily. It consists of 14 rooms around a 400-year-old landmark garden, with fruit and nut trees, flowers and a pool, Giardino Sul Duomo's owner, Michele, who said he was 33, has created a wonderful peaceful world in this beautiful hilltop city in southeastern Sicily. Most of the town is walkable, and there are sweet parks, shops, nice restaurants and a great ambience. Our room was large, well-appointed, and had a big bathroom with a Jacuzzi. Breakfast was great, in a dining room overlooking the garden, and Michele's restaurant suggestions were perfect. The location in Ibla was great for sights, and the price was reasonable for the level of luxury. We came off-season, but the place was nearly full. It's definitely worth booking ahead.
