The house itself is spacious and has a good division of space to accommodate larger family groups. Members of my group were able to go to bed at different times without being kept up by the rest of the group hanging out in the common areas. Everyone had the privacy they needed while still being able to spend time together on the property. There does seem to be a bug problem in some areas, though the overall accommodations were clean. There is a bizarre problem with some of the doors, namely in the hall bathroom, where they will not properly latch when being closed. The step up from the dining area into the kitchen is also quite dangerous; one of the guests in my party tripped on it and ended up having to spend the rest of the trip limping. I would like to see that better marked or perhaps given a ramp. That being said, the location and size is hard to beat for the price! The beach is immediately accessible, you practically walk outside and you're on the path through the dunes. And when we drove down to the boardwalk (necessary, as the property is a few miles from the main resort areas), we saw the beach down there was unbelievably crowded. Meanwhile, our stretch of beach up by this property was basically empty! If you're traveling to Virginia Beach because you want to actually go to the beach, and not be stuck in crowds just to be near the boardwalk, this property is a great option!
