The property is very nice. The yard is large and has lots of things to enjoy. The cabin is a great size. Plenty of space for family to come over and visit and hang out. Enjoyed our stay and will be back.
Just what we were looking for. We wanted to take Thanksgiving to our College Athlete. The layout of the Cabin allowed us to be together for the Holiday all while having our own space. It was a plus for our two young adults.
Overall, this stay worked for the purpose our group needed it for. There were a few hiccups along the way, but nothing unfixable.
The house itself is beautiful, the hammock on the deck is a really cool feature but also placed in a spot where there was a 50/50 chance you'd have a sewage smell while enjoying the feature.
This house is in a very rural area. All five of us, with different cell providers and from different areas of the country, had issues with cell service at the house. WiFi was also hit or miss but worked more often than not. About 15-30 minutes to a grocery store and possibly further if you're purchasing liquor.
The house is well decorated, but could use a good dusting, especially in the high windows, ceilings and fans.
There is a book the host put together with all the info you may need during your stay. We booked for 5 days, 4 nights with 5 guests. The house did not supply more than (1) roll of toilet tissue in a bathroom, & only (1) garbage bag in a trash can, including the kitchen garbage. Day 2, we had to reach out to the host for garbage bags & by Day 4, 2/3 of the bathrooms were completely out of toilet tissue.
The kitchen had the bare minimums for cooking & I would recommend bringing anything you might need beyond salt, plates, cups, bowls and basic silverware. There was a lack of interior seating for a stay that accommodate larger groups otherwise. Only one 3-person couch, which was broken, and two other swivel chairs in another area.
