Overall the hotel was clean, but super basic and an ok place to put your head down. There was jo comfort in the room

There was no milk in the room and when I asked the response was they hadn’t had their delivery despite the fact breakfast was being served, I imagine there would’ve been milk there.
Although it serves our visit just one night. I wouldn’t be rushing back

Beautiful old converted building, but corridors and rooms were tatty and showing their age. Only came into contact with front desk staff, but they weren’t very friendly and (possibly the manager) one of the staff completely dismissed my request to fill my water bottle when I was checking out. EV chargers didn’t work. It is in a good location to walk into town and use the many restaurants and bars nearby. Didn’t eat or drink in the hotel as it looked quite soleless. Wouldn’t stay at this hotel again, and wouldn’t recommend it.

The location is great - a cute side street with tons of restaurants and bars really close to excellent shopping! A couple of stumbles make me not able to recommend it to friends/others - I was given Room 01, on the ground floor close to a secondary exterior entrance and as a single female traveling alone that is not a best practice. When I asked to be moved to an above ground floor room requiring key access via elevator, the staff member pushed back and told me the ground floor was safe and the hotel was full. After again saying I didn't feel safe, I was able to move to Room 201. The other issue is that Room 201 and other rooms overlooking the interior courtyard have no access to fresh air as the interior courtyard doubles as the outdoor smoking area! The A/C had already switched over to heat and so I couldn't use that. Finally, there are different breakfast hours on the weekdays vs. weekends and we were only informed of the weekend hours (until 11am), so when I came down on a Monday after 10am, breakfast was being taken away. I'm very grateful to the staff member who let me still eat! But some clearer communication could avoid the mixup! Thanks.
