The dispute concerning the use and alteration of common areas led to litigation between the homeowners’ association and the lodging/property operator, including court rulings in 2023 and 2024. "The location was perfect for walking around Burgos and exploring. There was very secure parking just outside the door of the hotel at a reasonable price. And, the two young ladies that helped me at reception were professional and kind. To me, they were the best part of the hotel. My room was clean and comfortable, but just a little bit noisy a few times. It looks like the hotel caters to tour groups. I didn't have breakfast, but it looked like there were many options. I was traveling with my dog and cat, and they were both welcome. Which was a big relief to me. Overall, I would give the hotel a 9/10."

"Beautiful cathedral view from room, comfortable beds, good bathroom. Only issue was lack of aircon (it was hot in October!) but management did supply a fan which helped. Rooms facing cathedral do get some street noise, but that’s to be expected."

"The hotel is very well located within the town of Burgos and is easily accessible as it lies just outside the old town but literally minutes walk from the cathedral. It's an impressive building - clean and spacious and very modern. There is a garage which is handy but be aware that the hotel charges 21 euros a night. We stayed one night on a journey through Spain having come off the Santander ferry so we didn't get the opportunity to use the facilities such as the gym or pool. We found the staff ok but not particularly friendly. We tried to cancel our breakfast which had been pre-paid and use the money towards the garage fee. They were very dismissive and said we would have to pay whether we ate breakfast or not so we decided we might as well! The room was comfortable, on the ground floor with a little terrace overlooking a garden. The bed was a super king size and the room was spacious. However, the air con didn't work so it was very warm. All in all, a good stay that could have been improved by friendlier staff."
