Amazing beaches and water, lovely staff and incredible food (half-board highly recommended). Excellent and different a la carte choices offered every night. 2 bugbears which prevented me giving 5 stars- 1) It is usual for a top hotel to provide a couple of bottles of complimentary water each night. SM does have the water in the minibar, but they charge for it, which is a little annoying. 2) They have a private, lovely beach. However they charge 50 euros per day for the use of their beach sunloungers, which we were unaware of beforehand. For a hotel of this type, we would not expect to pay for this (and certainly not so much). However, overall, we had a fantastic stay - loved being able to rent e-bikes so we could explore the area.

The water laps onto the sand beach right at the hotel’s gorgeous outdoor dining and sitting areas. Very nice people at the front desk. Art everywhere inside.

Had a lovely week long stay at hotel Stella Maris . The food is of good quality , especially the choice of pastries at breakfast and desserts at dinner. Gréât location for thé beach . A bit of a long walk into town when it’s hot but taxi was only 15 euros . Lovely staff . Would thoroughly recommend .

Excellent hotel located next to a lovely beach. We booked half board with a very varied menu to choose from and given the hotel’s location we would recommend booking this option. You would need a car to dine elsewhere. Really relaxing holiday, enhanced by the friendly and professional staff, hopefully we will return in the future.

Great location. Great staff. Very nice setting and facilities. The room is not great but average. I am not sure I would have loved if it was for a much longer stay, but I may have not paid for a special room. Maybe it was a basic room Inpaid for a received. In any case a very lovely place.

A little Gem.
A little gem. If you don't mind a full hour taxi transfer from the airport, a wonderful quiet place awaits you with a beach as good as any Caribbean beach. You either need to get walking or have a car, as the small town is a good 25 minute walk away. This was a perfect getaway this year and just what was needed after lockdown. Food delicious, staff very friendly and hotel wi fi excellent. Rooms very comfortable and contemporary Italian (as many Italian resorts can be old fashioned).

Perfect for a relaxing holiday
Our fourth stay in this fabulous hotel. Extremely comfortable accommodation, beautiful gardens leading on to a lovely beach. Service is outstanding, friendly without being pretentious. Food is very good & varied with plenty of choice. Lovely countryside with many beautiful bays. The local town, Villasimius, approx. 3 kms away, is a lovely unspoiled holiday town with very friendly locals. Highly recommended.

Nice hotel lovely beach
We stayed here recently. I am a single Mother of two teenage children. I found the waiting Staff in the bar & dining area unfriendly - maybe this was because I am a single parent - but it made me feel uncomfortable. This is not a great hotel for non Italian speaking guests - better suited to Europeans other than English. Amazing food however, and a beautiful tranquil & safe beach. Not much local info was available for English guests - I had to my research of what was available Locally via the internet. Soft drinks in bar extremely pricey at €7 for a small glass of lemonade.

Close to the beach
A lovely stay... room, food, service and grounds all excellent. Be aware, it can be quite windy here, which is great for wind and kite surfers. Also walk across the peninsula to the beaches by the lagoon which are even more stunning!!

Charming and relaxing!
The hotel is set in a beautiful surrondings.! The decore is elegant and welcoming.. Staff at reception , dining hall, bar, cafe and domestic services were friendly and helpful. They all speak some english. The food choice at breakfast and dinner was excellant. The cafe food was also good. Hotel's outdoor swimming pool, gardens and beach were clean ,safe and relaxing! Big carpark, close to the highway and walking distance from the villasimius village , this hotel is an ideal spot for relaxation!

Great All-Round Resort
A wonderful experience near end of season. The setting overlooking an extensive beautiful beachfront is delightful and complemented by spacious grounds with sunbathing and seating areas. Staff are very well trained and always friendly. Dining, in every respect, was a treat indeed. A lot of attention is given to establishing, throughout the resort, an ambiance of warm and inviting areas to relax to enjoy the amenities offered, Would definitely include this resort in a return visit to beautiful Sardinia.

Fantastic Hotel - Superb Location
We came to this hotel for our honeymoon and we had the best time ever. Exactly what we were hoping for and more. This hotel is absolutely stunning. The location is right on the beach and is pure paradise. Hotel staff are very friendly and would do anything for you. We booked half board not really knowing what to expect from the food but what a wonderful surprise!. The food is to die for, really fantastic. There are 4 courses with a great menu to choose from. Could not fault the food in the slightest, you would not be disappointed. The one slight issue we had was there was not enough information with regards to local villages, things to do or where to go. We did ask the hotel staff and they did help us out but there was no information in the hotel room which would have made it a bit easier. It is not a kids hotel, they would be bored and there were lots of couples there so bear this in mind. Other then that, fantastic. We will definately be coming back and cannot wait until we do.

i would go again
Smallish friendly hotel tucked away in its own grounds right on the beach. Food was excellent and varied if you like italian food. Staff were all extremly helpful and friendly. it was rather quiet as it was just coming into the holiday season and there were cycles for hire if you wanted to explore. If you wanted to eat out then you will need a car as Villasimius is a good 20-30 mins walk away.

Magnifique séjour au Stella Maris. L’hôtel est très confortable avec une ambiance familiale et tous les équipements rêvés. Le personnel est aux petits soins. Il est très bien situé si vous cherchez un endroit au calme, à côté de la mer, et à portée de voiture ou de vélo du centre du village). Le restaurant est excellent, avec une bonne sélection de vins Sardes (un peu cher pour la Sardaigne quand même, on est plutôt sur des prix de capitale comme Rome ou Barcelone). Il y a cependant de bons restaurants aux alentour. Je recommande le bachussardus pour les amateurs de vins et de planches de charcuteries et fromage sardes ;-)

Super séjour nous avons changé de chambre avec supplément de 400 euros car la première à notre demande plein pied avait un mur devant et aucune vue est très sombre. Les repas juste exceptionnels, les boissons hypermarché chères: une bière entre 7 et 9 euros ! Sinon, parfait 😘

Das Hotel ist sehr geschmackvoll und alles ist von sehr guter Qualität. Die Lage ist wirklich herausragend, sehr ruhig, ein wunderschöner Garten abfallend zum Strand in einer eine traumhaften Badebucht. Einziges Manko sind die wirklich sehr hohen Preise für gastronomische Sachen, wie zum Beispiel Getränke uns Snacks.

Hotel fantástico en la mejor playa que puedas ver en el sur de Cerdeña. Todo un lujo poder disfrutar de su playa privada a 70 pasos del hotel.la cena fantástica con buffet para el “antipasto” y después servicio de carta para primer y segundo plato. Estuvimos 10 días.., una experiencia inolvidable. Volveremos

Struttura molto curata, ottima la pulizia delle camere. Colazione e cena a buffet molto ricchi e ben assortiti, il personale è sempre gentile e disponibile. Per concludere la posizione incantevole direttamente sulla spiaggia privata lo rende perfetto.

L'ambiente veramente rilassato, la cordialità del personale, la posizione, la spiaggia, la Xperia del wifi praticamente ovunque, il cibo e l'ampia scelta. Molto pesce ed i dolci squisiti.

sehr freundliches Personal, schönes Hotel mit aufenthaltsräumen, Bar, etc. sher schöne Gartenanlage mit Pool, sehr schöner strand mit Liegestühlen, Durschen, etc. Zimmer sehr sauber, sehr schönes Badzimmer, gute Betten. Ruhige Lage. Zimmer bergseitig ohne Aussicht, aber die hat man ja den ganzen Tag.

Nous avons aimez l’accueil, l'endroit, l'établissement dans son ensemble, un personnel d'exception qui parle plusieurs langues dont le français, les petits déjeuné du matin sont parfait, les repas du soir sont aussi excellents et il y en a pour tous les goûts ; nous avons vraiment été emballés par cette hôtel (avec ma femme nous voyageons pas mal et pratiquement toujours en Hotel 4 et 5 étoiles, mais celui là nous a particulièrement apporté une grande satisfaction), pour ceux qui aiment les salles de spots c'est dommage car apparemment il n'y en a pas mais nous cela ne nous a pas gêné car nous avions loué une petite voiture et il y a tellement de beau endroit et point de vue sur la mer à voir que nous en avons profité pour laisser de coté nos habitudes de citadins. Se qui est génial aussi c'est qu'il n'y a pas de ville près de l’hôtel, seulement le petit village de Villasimius avec de belles petites boutiques, de bons glaciers etc etc... et ça ça n'a pas de prix pour passer de bons moments. Nous recommandons vraiment cet hôtel et j'en profite pour féliciter tout le personnel de cet établissement qui toujours souriant et abordable.

Bonjour, merci pour la merveilleuse critique, sourire au client n’est pas une imposition mais bien due à l’atmosphère et au plaisir d’être avec vous. Nous sommes désolés que vous n’ayez pas essayé de jouer au tennis dans notre hôtel, de marcher à vélo (gratuitement) ou de jouer au golf (à un kilomètre et avec des green fees réduits), nous sommes sûrs que vous le ferez la prochaine fois.
