My group of couples with a few kids (1.5-4yo) had a great week for Labor Day. Walk to the lake isn’t too steep, needed to hold the little ones hands so they didn’t trip on rocks. Bedrooms are a little small, fine for a couple just using the room to sleep, but tight fit for a pack n play in rooms other than the master. The main kitchen is a bit small for more than 1 cook at a time. Great to have the downstairs kitchen for extra storage of snacks and beverages. One thing that we thought was gross was the upstairs bathroom has carpet. The mountain store is nice for forgotten items, but anything else is about 20-30min away. Overall great place and would stay again." I don't like giving negative reviews. It has great potential I just believe that whoever the owner is paying to clean and prep the place is dropping the ball. Upon arrival the place wasn't very clean. There were used to Clorox wipes laying all around and the rug hasn't been vacuumed. The listing showed that soap and shampoo would be provided and it wasn't. Luckily my son had brought some. There were no trash bags on the premise to throw our trash away. The bed in the master bedroom was horrible.
