Villar Reculas est très bien situé. C'est un village plaisible et familial. Comme annoncé la vue du chalet est incroyable, mais ça ne peut compenser les défauts de communication sur le logement. Les photos donnent une impression de chalet isolé ce qui n'est pas le cas. Le barbecue n'en n'est pas un (un trou entouré de pierres), je ne vois pas comment le partager avec un autre logement. Il est derrière le chalet dans une zone non éclairée. Les terrasses "privatives" sont sur le chemin où passent les résidents des autres appartements du chalet. Une des chambres est en dehors du logement et accessible des résidents des appartement du chalet mon rêve 2 et 3 dont nous n'avons pas la clé de la porte d'entrée commune. A notre arrivée nous n'étions pas informé qu'un carreau était cassé (du coup nous ne pouvions pas aérer la chambre), que le tuyau de douche fuyait et que le lave linge ne fonctionnait pas. Globalement le chalet est suffisamment équipé (petit frigo et plat à gratin uniquement pour 8/10 personnes), mais n'est pas au rdv du tarif pratiqué. Il y a réellement une seule chambre fermée pour 2 personnes, la deuxième est dans le couloir desservant la salle de bain et les toilettes, isolée par un rideau appelé par un terme charmant "coin montagne", la 3ème est fermée et en dehors du logement, la dernière est dans le salon fermé par un rideau qui inclut la chambre fermée. Les gérants sont très agréables et disponibles. Mais la gestion gérants/propriétaires compliquent la communication. Si vous êtes les seuls dans le chalet, c'est probablement plus agréable. L'ensemble des éléments cumulés donnent une sensation d'un endroit où on ne se sent pas les bienvenus. Néanmoins nous avons fortement apprécié la vue du balcon et la table qui y est située pour savourer le calme des montagnes. Une superbe route mène en 15-20min à Huez où des télécabines vous mènent en 7min à l'alpe d'huez. Vous trouverez de nombreux départs de randonnées d'huez pour les familles avec peu de dénivelé. A Villar reculas vous trouverez une alimentation ouverte 7jours sur 7, des jeux pour enfants, et une très belle vue! ##### Tiphaine V. The chalet is very well equipped with more than enough cutlery, plates, pots n pans - more than we knew what to do with! The whole of the chalet was immaculately clean throughout on arrival. Frank, not sure how to describe his role, manager/ caretaker, greeted us on arrival and could not have been any more helpful, friendly or accommodating. He has great local knowledge and was always available (gave his address which is 5 mins up the road) should we need him - very friendly and a great gent. There is a small shop in the village that stocks everyday essentials, also has a small restaurant attached, with a large supermarket down in Le Bourg-d’Oisans. There is another restaurant 15 minutes walk up the mountain which we are at - very nice too Overall hugely impressed and would definitely stay here again and highly recommend Thank you Jean-Pierre and Frank ##### Neil P.
