"This is a great old house lovingly refurbished and turned into a first-class hotel. It surprisingly has just 3 stars but is more of a 4.5 star hotel. "Pleasant hotel in two parts - accommodation in second part which meant going outside to get breakfast etc. Room big with balcony, although road right outside it was not noisy. No air-con though. Breakfast good choice, cooked if you wanted it and meals in the hotel good too. "Lovely old building. Lovely setting and grounds. BUT, my single room was very tiny, up in the attic, up 4 flights of stairs! It was Hot and cramped, although they did supply a fan.
