"Loved it! They arranged flto pick us up at airport to apartment. Same day, directed us to train, we rode to see the Colosseum and other parts of the city, after our relaxing night, they brought us to our cruise. One of our party, forgot her medication and they brought it to our ship. Wonderful people and a very nice relaxed atmosphere. "Stayed here before going to the cruise port in Civitavecchia (about a $60 US taxi ride). Took a transit bus from FCO airport to reach Santa Marinella (you have to carry your luggage into the bus; no under bus stowage was provided). The room was clean and comfortable. There is no elevator, so you have to carry your luggage up the stairs. Air conditioning worked well to cool down the room. There was a small balcony off the bathroom with a little chair to sit, but people would come outside of the little restaurant next door and smoke, so we had to close the doors and windows. Breakfast was nice with a selection of cereal, bread & pastries, meats & cheese, and made to order coffees/lattes. There was a hair dryer in the bathroom, but it was broken. All in all, a nice place for the price."
