"The staff was wonderful, I wish we could have stayed longer. We had a roll and cool brought up to our room. The rooms were all so cute. We were brought cool drinks when we arrived. Although we wanted to have the free breakfast, due to the train strike we had to leave early. Hopefully we can get back there and enjoy more time with them."
"The staff helpful and friendly.
Breakfast wonderful.
Room very clean. Cleaning staff very friendly and helpful. Had a broken hairdryer replaced it pronto!
We got two free drinks on arrival! Yay"
"The apartment was wonderful - airy , light, roomy and with everything we needed. It accomodated a granny, 2 little girls and their parents with ease, and was so well placed, just inside the walls, that one could walk or wander to all the sites and restaurants. Our favourite bit was sitting on the terrace watching the swifts and swallows wheeling about against the darkening hills and the slow sinking of the sun. Magical!Cristiano was so welcoming and helpful - it was a pleasure to meet him and he explained everything so well and had any problems come up , which didn't happen, I am sure he would have been able to sort them out. It was very hot during our stay so the air conditioning was lovely to have. The kitchen was perfectly equipped and with the help of a marvellous book of recipes left out for us we enjoyed several successful attempts at Italian recipes. If Lucca is your destination, book Rita's apartment - it was absolutely perfect!"
"The bed and pillows were too soft for my liking, but that's a personal preference. The junior suite was spacious and comfortable and the shower was good.
The gardens are gorgeous and the perfect place to sit for a drink or a quiet (bring your own) lunch or dinner.
Breakfast was good, you won't go hungry and Matteo will make your coffee how ever you like it."
"The facilities were very nice. This is my first trip to Italy. I thought the rooms were very small but that may just be the way it is in this country. The shower however, was actually dangerous. The water poured from the shower to nearly the door. No matter what we tried we could not get that to stop. We had two rooms and both rooms had the same issue.
Rooftop was absolutely lovely."
