"The hosts and house are what every home sharing experience should strive to be like. Their communication was phenomenal, the location was picturesque, and if they didn't have it, they were quick with a great recommendation. We were fortunate enough to be here for Carnaval and were less than a 10 minute walk from the joyous festivities. If you want to experience a welcoming and native town in Portugal that is near both Lisbon and Obidos, this is a must."

We had such a fantastic stay at this hotel! The room was amazing, extremely clean, jetted bath in the room, stunning sunset views over the beach and relaxing purring ocean sound to fall asleep and wake up. They offer massages at a great price (35-50€). The gym however is a gimmick, about the size of a small double bed room. The room service was nice, polite and absolutely affordable (5€ a burger, 10€ a bottle of bubbly, 4€ cocktails). The beach itself is not that nice, as quite small and the...

I spent one night here having flown in from the UK for a business meeting, the hotel is in a good location with all requirements the rooms are clean, very spacious and my room had some great views over the town. The bar area was pleasant enough for an evening informal meeting but if your expecting anything more than a sandwich you need to make other plans. Breakfast was minimal with some breads, ham, cheese, fruit and cereal on offer, though you do get to eat this small offering off what...

We had a wonderfull restful few days here. Rachael and her family were very kind and helpful hosts, nothing was too much trouble for them to ensure their guests were comfortable and happy. Would definitely recommend a stay here to unwind and relax. The hotel is a little bit 'out of the way' so having a car would have made eating out and exploring the area a little easier but we managed fine with taxis which were cheap and readily available..
