The beautiful Ria Formosa.: The Ria Formosa in the Algarve is a beautiful labyrinth of lagoons separated from the sea by a coastal dune system which is broken up by various natural inlets. It is one of the most important nature reserves in the network of wetlands that links Europe and sub-Saharan Africa. The Ria has an enormous variety of natural habitats that provide refuge, feeding and breeding areas for an infinite number of flora and fauna and is a haven for birds. The house was very clean when we arrived, felt superb immediately. Un fortunately the weather was a bit cloudy, but not a great deal. All the things you need are available once you arrive. The beach is in walking distance and calm (maybe because is was a bit cold). We enjoyed every minute of our stay! Communication with Andrew was spot on and prompt! Great walking to Café, restaurant, beach, supermarket all within minutes. The house did not appear to have been cleaned when we arrived but the property manager immediately sent the cleaners and it was quickly cleaned. The hot water was working fine at first, using the on-demand heater, but towards the end of our 10 day stay it quit working and the property manager again sent someone immediately. The hot water was never quite right again though for our final few days. But again, wonderful house, property, and location, would recommend and would stay again. Thanks! ##### Ryan B. Embora a chave de acesso à casa tenha sido trocada nunca mais nos sentimos seguros na casa. Disponibilizamo-nos para nova conversa mas não houve mais contacto dos anfitriões.Cozinha totalmente equipada mas com alguns eletrodomésticos que não funcionavam. E poderiam fornecer sacos do lixo e papel higiénico. Apenas 1 unidade de cada deixados. Nao expectavel para a qualidade e preço da casa. Ainda assim recomendo vivamente. ##### Joao M. Location is excellent. Monte Gordo is a great spot to spend the winter. Andrew and Else excellent property managers. House is very well equipped. Always a concern for long term stays. Common area is large and allows many people to be together at once. Pool and backyard were great with enough seating for our entire group. We walked to the beach daily (5 minute walk) and also walked to Monte Gordo either along the beach or through the National Forest. It was a 15 minute walk to town. We were a group of 5 adults and one child Ranging in age from 9 to 85\. The bedroom on the main floor was perfect for those with issues climbing stairs. The three upstairs bedrooms were all a good size. We recommend and hope to return again. ##### Barbara S.
