The staff (specially the managers) were very kind and informative to us. They gave us many hints; where to go, eat, art stores, ferries, scooters, and treated us very exclusively. The hotel parking is very convenient. The breakfast was decent and the second day the staff recognized us by face and knew what we prefer to drink. The seats inside and outside have nice coastal view (sunrise). The bar, liquors and mixed drinks were served as expected. Staff were generous with the amount. Although it wasn't the swimming season, they served us at the pool too. The food is not typical Italian fit the region, and we understand the chef prolly came up with the menu to satisfy any customer taste. The clerk were kind to reserve us up the hill, a farm, for dinner. The farm owners came and picked us up with their miniature agriculture van. What surprised us was that every time we left our room and came back, the room was already cleaned up and set!!! couple of times a day, great room services. Also they helped us to learn more new words in Italian. My wife and I really enjoyed our stay. Raito strategically is located close to many villages in 30 to 1hr proximity by scooter, car, or ferry. If we visit Amalfi coast again, we'd definitely stay in Raito, without any doubts.
We'd decided to visit during Shoulder Season, and by the time we arrived many bus tours had left the hotel, so we didn't experience the crowd and busy hotel. May be that's a factor. In overall, this hotel deserves its stars
