Good central hotel with great hospitality by Yuri

We thoroughly enjoyed Relais Viesti partly because it is a clean, modern hotel set right in the heart of downtown Viesti-- but even moreso because of Yuri. Yuri is one of the kindest & most generous people I have ever encountered during my travels. He goes the extra mile, cares tremendously about his guests & is an all around wonderful person. This hotel is truly lucky to have him. A few more bits about the hotel-- there is a plentiful breakfast that the staff serves to you (pastries, fruits, hard boiled eggs, juices) & the rooms are spacious with an amazing (HUGE!) shower that has a rainhead & disco light show. It is quiet despite being in the center of all the action & it is up 4 flights of stairs (not a problem for us, but FYI). You can walk to the beaches, to the restaurants & so on. My only feedback is that the lobby smelled terribly of cigarette smoke each time we came & went & yet the hotel says it is non-smoking. Also, we were surprised about the 15 Euro/night charge for parking, just wish this were disclosed up front. Otherwise great stay!
