Only a few minutes walk from the train station and they give you a free ticket to use any train or bus for miles around. So you can be in the middle of Freiburg in half an hour. "Very good location and clean area. Friendly reception staff. Good room with enough storage. Comfortable bed and very quiet. One thing I meant to mention is that you must be aware that when in the shower be careful that the water suddenly came out burning hot- I think when my husband flushed the loo, and it burnt me a little down the front of my body. This wasn’t disastrous for me as I responded quickly but would be if it was a child. Not the fault of place and wouldn’t put me off returning- just cautionary tale. "
