However, even when we booked, the lake would not have been swimmable due to toxic algae blooms. "I hosted all of my friends for my husbands birthday party. It was the perfect venue to get away from it all-- enough lodging for our friends, and great privacy. The owner checked us in and out, but other than that we were on our own-- exactly how we wanted it :) Houses are perfectly appointed with plenty of supplies for cooking and eating. "The house has a beautiful view from the living room & deck. It rained while we were here, but we all had an amazing time anyway because it was so cozy! The hot tub under the covered deck was fantastic as well!"
