The place is obviously full during popular time, but the activity and noise went on throughout the night and the walls and ceilings don't prevent much of the noise from waking you up. Be prepared to hear doors opening and slamming shut for those that get up at 5 am to get to the National Park early." The room was cold with thin blanket only and heating could not be adjusted. Eventually, extra blankets were brought in. Staff was helpful, got clean sheets and blankets. The cafe opens at 7:00 am with a long line of people waiting, eager to have an early start for the park. I think it should open at 6 am instead. The breakfast is on the expensive side, a hot coffee and a small egg cheese sandwich is about $15.00\. The park is spectacular with magnificent views! Clean, well maintained and organized, with free shuttles running often, very convenient for the visitors. The park is simply a must see. I hope I will be able to come to the park again, but I don’t think I will stay at Yavapai Lodge."
