"The rooms were well appointed, comfortable and clean. The restaurant offered ample choices and the food quality good. I loved the proximity to the park entrance and the night sky. My only complaint is the advertised breakfast buffet. When we asked about it, we were told that there wasn't one. So, we ended up checking out and then eating breakfast outside the park."

"Our overall stay was good. The hotel was clean and our room was very spacious and comfortable (we had a king suite with a balcony). Our only issue was there was an error with double charging us, but it was rectified and handled well. We also did not enjoy the food that was served at the three restaurants on site."

"El Tovar is not just a hotel. It’s a historic place with stunning views! Once I planned our visit to the Great Canyon south rim - this hotel was MUST BE option! With no doubt every dollar spent for this hotel worth it! Highly recommend!"

"We loved that the location was in the middle of nowhere yet also close enough to the Grand Canyon. There was an issue with the shower door, the toilet, the microwave door handle and the bathroom sink clogging, but they sent maintenance the next day who fixed some of the issues. There were flies and bugs inside the home, but they didn’t really bother us. You get a spectacular view of the Milky Way galaxy right outside the home. I would stay here again."
