This hotel is amazing and good value for money. Great location in the centre of town in the shopping district and just a short walk to the ferry terminal and the train stations. All the staff were very helpful and are able to offer tips on things to do in Como. The room was pleasant - nespresso machine, kettle and tea and coffee included. The hotel self was nice and the staff were very friendly. They gave me tips etc. And helped me through my stay. The shuttle bus was very convenient when you travel via MXP. They will pick you up when you arrived. My room was very spacious and clean! With all the amenities. The restaurant was sublime and friendly staff. I would recommend you to get your dinner here. Traveling to the city is better with the train to Milano Porta Garibaldi. When you are there you can pick the tram, metro or bus...

The service and staff are superb!!! They are very helpful. The room is beautiful with generous amenities. The host at the rooftop, Dario, provide us and complimentary snack and drink. I will definitely stay at Vista Lago di Como for my next visit.

We were so lucky to find this hotel at short notice. Perfectly positioned next to the lake in Como. The hotel has only just opened after extensive refurbishment and it is beautiful. The staff couldn't be more helpful and the service was first class. The roof top bar is beautiful with views across the lake and the old town. Our stay at Hotel Ungheria was great! Good room with airco, facilities, great breakfast and excellent helpfull service throughout. A spotless and very well run family hotel. Varese itself is lovely, as well as centrally located, especially if you like to travel by public transport. Milan, Como, Lugano and more are nearby, including Lake Varese (cycle lane around it), Villa Panza and Sacro Monte. Fully recommended.

Beautiful room with beautiful views, perfectly located close to the lake, shops, restaurants. Cannot fault the staff and their breakfast service was lovely. The bathroom was gorgeous!

Our room was wheelchair friendly but we couldn’t access the terrace where breakfast was served and looked at the lake. The staff were very helpful getting breakfast sorted in our room though, but we didn’t have a view there. The hotel was in an amazing situation but the reception felt a little unfriendly but once settled we felt much more welcome. The staff were all friendly and helpful with great restaurant recommendation and taxi booking too.

went out to stresa for my birthday as had never been for a short break. easily reached by alibus or train to stresa itself. great location, so beautiful loads to see and do. boats so easily available to taxi you about to other resorts on lake but so glad to of stayed in stresa. with the lake and views as far as you can see and the alps in distance lit up by the sun when it was out there nothing to do buy chill out, explore and soak up the scenery with lots of food and drink. hotel is 5 mins...

I was extremely satisfied with everything—the location, cleanliness, friendliness of the staff, and the delicious breakfast. I would definitely stay at this hotel again when I return to this beautiful town.

Everything worked well from the ease of checking in to the upgraded room overlooking the lake to the excellent, responsive staff. The visit was a delight from start to finish. Of particular note were the arrangements for breakfast and the extreme helpfulness and resourcefulness of the members of the concierge team. Can't speak highly enough of them.

This was my first stay at this hotel in Cernobbio and my favourite Hotel is now converted into luxury apartments, so I needed a new Hotel in Cernobbio. This hotel is brilliant and I will stay again. Its in a great position and the downstairs has to be seen to be believed and luckily the room had a balcony with great views. The staff were also very professional and engaging and the food was very good and quick. See you soon guys- if you will have me.

Except from being distant to city center everything was perfect. Better to have car or plan ahead transportation

Fantastic hotel and stay

Fantastic stay at Poli Hotel. Amazing breakfast selection with freshly baked cakes and amazing salumaria every morning. Staff are all very polite and efficient. Parking is free and always available.I would definitely recommend this hotel.
