Downside was having to use WhatsApp as a key to get into the building and the room. "I loved my stay here, it was exactly what I needed. The space was cozy and the garden was absolutely wonderful to spend time in. My hosts were communicative and so, so nice! My only note is that I was very excited about the rope hammock featured in the photos, but unfortunately it was no longer there when I arrived. But otherwise, great spot to enjoy Tours from, and all of France, or to get away and have some time to yourself. If coming in summer, be prepared for bugs and heat! "

"We had a lovely large room and big bathroom with a shower and separate big bathtub. The room was equipped with an iron and ironing board as well as supplies to make your own hot beverages. We had an excellent 3 course dinner although the breakfast buffet was disappointing. The scrambled eggs were “soupy” and the bacon, sausages and pancakes were all cold. One coffee machine meant a rather large waiting line most of the time. Nice staff. Other than the breakfast, it was a nice hotel."
