"Jennifer's Cottage Room in Summerland, CA was a cozy little refresher. Trees and vines make for an intimate green space (check out the pictures.) Jennifer's was my getaway from noise, cement and traffic in LA. Great for a single or a couple. Summerland, California is a nice little sea side town just minitues from Santa Barbara. There are a wide variety of activities in the area, sun and sand, surfing lessons, vineyard tours, horseback riding--something for everyone. Just go and enjoy yourself!"

"The location of the resort is perfect, right on the beach. The nights we were there the resort was completely booked. For a large resort and a small pool area this created problems finding chairs and places in the one and only hot tub. Also pool staff were overworked so dishes sat around waiting to be picked up. The room was very clean and we loved having 2 bathrooms. I am not a big resort person so I was a little put off by the daily resort fee, parking fee, and having to join hilton honors just to have free wifi. Food was also very expensive. Luckily we found great places to eat in walking distance."
