  • Welcome to The Moroccan at The Birdbath Bungalows. Your beautifully curated getaway in the heart of Ventura's beachside community.

    THE SPACE

    Two bedrooms, one bathroom, fully equipped kitchen. Sip your morning espresso on the front porch swing, fire up the BBQ for dinner, and spend your evenings gathered around the gas fire pit in your own lush secret garden. Fully renovated in 2023 with care and quality throughout.

    WEDDING PARTIES, FAMILY REUNIONS & GROUP RETREATS

    Hosting a wedding party, family reunion, or work retreat? The Moroccan is one of three Birdbath Bungalows on the property — rent one, two, or all three, each with private connecting gates that can be locked for your own space or opened up for a seamless group experience. Need even more space? Twin Palms Townhouse, our sister collection of three additional properties, is right next door. Together all six properties can accommodate groups of virtually any size while keeping everyone just steps apart.

    GETTING AROUND

    Off-street parking included. Walk to the beach, the pier, local coffee shops, corner markets, and Ventura's vibrant Main Street restaurant and bar scene. Catch the Saturday farmers market, explore the historic Mission, or grab a board and hit the surf. A short drive gets you to Ojai, Montecito, Santa Barbara, and beyond.

Absolutely lovely!

We loved this place. It was perfectly appointed and so thoughtful in its lay-out, etc. The pictures are accurate, and they also do not do justice to the flowers, trees, decor, etc. It's truly beautiful. For 2 people, it felt spacious. For more? Not sure as it is not a super large place. It is located right in the middle of a neighborhood of older apartment buildings so you get the noise that comes with thin walls and close proximity. But it was ok. Folks are pretty quiet and very respectful of quiet times. 2 blocks down the road is the best coffee! We truly enjoyed our stay. Thank you.

The Moroccan bungalow was charming, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay.The property was very clean and well maintained, with all the essentials thoughtfully provided.The landscaping created wonderful privacy and made the whole space feel peaceful and secluded.
