"The location is great as it’s right next to entrance 2 however the shower/tub was super small (I’m 5’ 4” and couldn’t stand up with the shower head at the top). We had to use the shower/tub like a bath. Amenities are a bit out dated but in good condition"

"Superb location for exploring the lakes. Peaceful area and easy walk to entrance 3. You have to buy ticket in advance and they scan on entry (buy for either gate 1 or 2). Breakfast was very good and evening meal good also. Not many dining options in the area so great that they provide this. "

"We were 4 women who booked 4 rooms. We arrived around noon and went into the park after some directions from the staff, leaving our bags in the parking lot. We returned around 5, were shown to our rooms and made ourselves comfortable before dinner. The family who live here and own/run the lodge were so friendly and welcoming. Dinner was fabulous... but you better be hungry because there's a lot of food... and complimentary drinks. The rooms were comfortable and we each had a terrace or patio. The showers were nice, too! It was a great place to stay!"

"The location is a bit further in than other options but you gain the benefit of entering the park via the less known/used entrance 3. We were able to use our entrance 1 tickets which allowed us to do route C in reverse...Upper lake and then lower lake...avoiding some of the crowd. The owner provided these tips and more. As for the room, it was larger than expected and comfortable. The highlight was the supper - the owner cooks on an open fire and offers a range of meat and vegetarian meals, including some local options like trout. Options for some great wine and deserts as well. Note food is cash only. Overall, I'd stay there again without a doubt."
