"Check-in was super easy and quick with super friendly staff. Hotel has been renovated. Room was immaculate with lots of space. King bed was super comfy and pillows just right. Breakfast was good with pre-made omelettes with cheese inside, but not labeled or seen as such, so lactose intolerant beware. Seasoned potatoes, wafer thin bacon, and plenty of fruit, cereal, coffee choices. Parking is easy. Be aware there is 3 stories to the building with an elevator which worked great. Plenty of fast food joints and liquor store within walking distance with more restraints not much further. All in all a great stay!"

"It is what u would expect for a rugged cabin. We had cabin 12. Hopefully it will be next on the update list. But there is a lot newer cabins. And overall worth the price. Staff was great!"

Large Vega Lake Colorado REAL LOG CABIN

"It was wonderful! We got together with our family. Our Daughters and their husbands came in from out of state, this was a perfect place to spend a long weekend and all be together, So Quit we saw lots of deer and one buck. Lots of room in the cabin for 10 of us, Very clean, we went around the lake to the lodge one night the other nights we hung out and played game in the evening, Beautiful deck to hang out on and watch the wild life!We had 4x4 Toys we took up and road the trails in the daytime. I wished we stayed longer. Beautiful place to get away!Thank you Ronda and Todd it could not have been better."

"Cody was the best host and responded immediately to all of our messages. The cabin was quiet and private with the exception of a bear who visited daily, hundreds of beautiful hummingbirds who came right up to us on the deck, a shy fox who snuck through the property, gorgeous views and a relaxing hot tub. Overall loved it and you just won't find a nicer and more attentive host!!"
Sheep Camp - Steel and Wool Rustic Hideaway

"The Sheep Shed was so enjoyable. The bed was comfortable, all the comforts of home but you are in a wonderful area with a pond full of koi. We had visits from mama deer and her fawn every day. We caught a glimpse of the big buck at night because he posed right in front of the outside light! The kitchen is fully stocked. So nice to have plenty of fresh clean water in each room. Highly recommend and hope to come back. Being so close to all the trails on the Grand Mesa was wonderful."
